Folks,
I have tried and installed a new blog system called LifeType from http://www.lifetype.net. LifeType is an open-source blogging platform with support for multiple blogs and users in a single installation. This means it allows each person a personalized blog with a unique URL too. This system seems to be the best free blog system so far in terms of features, functions and usability.
Those who are interested can go to http://www.timluo.net to register and start your own blog. timluo.net is the domain I registered back in 2001. Once you have finished registration, you can go to your personalized URL in the form of username.timluo.net.
You guys can also give me your feedback on the new blog system.
