I would meet You even in München or Budapest (maybe in Wien, at the Marathon

Just two weeks ago I reread "Crime and Punishment". I read it when I was a teenager, some 25 years ago - it had a great influence on me. In many respects it surprised me now: I could have sworn it takes place in winter... The reverse: it is hot summer, and it is often stressed that there is rotten, deep smells around.
Anyway, I hate living writers... I don't think I could have a decent conversation with any...
