This is used about someone who is always calm and confident, but is often not very friendly.


He's a cool customers, he behaves like he's being interviewed for a job, not reprimanded for a mistake.

The killer was able to think about wiping off fingerprints; that suggests a cool customer who doesn't often lose control.
