使我想起了某些貴賓卡的優惠:「憑本卡來店用餐五折, 但聖誕夜、國農曆除夕、母親節及中西情人節除外.」
其中所列的除外日子都叫作black-out date吧?

Yup, I presume that black-out date is equivalent to blind date. That's like during a blackout (during power failure or when the light is turned off), everyone seeks for his/her own sexual partner by luck.
