By the spelling of 'cadi' or 'cady', it should be pronounced with a long vowel, as 'car di'.
If you pronounced 'a' as a short vowel, the spelling would be 'caddi', 'caddie', or 'caddy'.
If you pronounced 'a' as a short vowel, the spelling would be 'caddi', 'caddie', or 'caddy'.
