Actually there is no holiday for it here, but we had a huge and clear and bright Moon yesterday too.

'Usagi' is for 天兔? And why is this one called like this? It's quite a strange name for a typhoon, they normally have women's name.

Yes, Usagi天兔 is the name of the typhoon just visited Taiwan. It's a new name. About the naming of Typhoons, it has been changed for some years, no longer only female names since it makes people feeling the discrimination deeply.

Also, after some typhoons with the same names brought huge damages on human lives and properties, the naming system had taken the names of those terrible typhoon forever and put in new names. It seems now we all can suggest new names thus hopefully can bring down the terrifying losses of a typhoon.

Well, it seems nonsense, but, look at this Usage, it is really only like a huge rabbit......

Ha-ha, ok, I agree, that is really discrimination... Though "El Nino" may have been the most famous one...

Don't you know by chance how the Asian names are ordered? In the American continent the names adjusted in alphabetical order. Thus in January you can find hurricanes starting with "a" or "b" etc. Usagi, I guess, is for 天兔 in Japanese.

I see you have that beautiful chicken there... The same one as in Hong Kong or every city in the Pacific has one?
