So so ... the good old "Donaudampfschiffahrtsgesellschaftskapitän".
I really would like to know, if somebody ever checked, if something like a "Donaudampfschiffahrtsgesellschaft" ever existed ... ... Btw, what is that ... ? "Megszentségteleníthetetlenségeskedéseitekért" ... Our maybe only virtual existing "Donaudampfschiffahrtsgesellschaft" ... is nothing against this beauty of an Hungarian expression ... Since Hungarian is an agglutinative language, there should be always ways to construct even longer sentences (in one expression), or? The only limit seems to be your own creativity ... GREAT!!! I can tell you, I myself knew a Donaudampfschiffahrtsgesellschaftskapitan, he was named Hans Jellinek, a tall, handsome, broad-smile gentleman from Lower Austria...
Actually, it can not be an accident that this world is used with Donau, I guess there are longer river names there, but it is just used with Donau... Well, Dagege, I don't know where you found this dinosaur, but it is interesting... almost correct. szent - saint szentség - sanctity meg- - it is something like 'aus-' in your mother tongue szentségtelen - "sanctitiless", without sactity, profane megszentségtelenít - is a verb, "to make something "sanctitiless", actually "to profane" or "to violate something", (here it is singular 3rd person); megszentségteleníthetlen - it can not get violated, inviolable; megszentségteleníthetetlenség - inviolability; not blasphemability(?), he-he... Ok, here two suffixes are added incorrectly, this "-eskedés" first makes a noun or an adj. a verb, then it changes the verb a noun to describe a state, for example: fagy (freeze, frost) - fagyoskodás - the state when one feels very cold in the freeze (in Englsih, I think, this would be simply "freezing"). So we are now at megszentségteleníthetetlenségeskedés; plus here added a plural plus a possessor, in English this would preceed it as "your ... " + -s" in the end; and "-ért" in the end would be "for" in English, in other words "For your (plural) stateS of being inviolability" or something... Normally a translator is paid 0.03-0.08 usd/per word, in this case he/she would be slightly underpaid... In fact I think if a word is too complicated we lose the sense of it halfway... (Maybe I'll tra to translate this to Chinese... )

Highly interesting ... the information I just found here on this page ...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donaudampfschiffahrtsgesellschaft I didn't thought too, that I would learn so much about European history and sure ... Hungarian language ... ... on a Taiwanese page, like our "okenglish-language fun". From here my knowledge about the example of a very long Hungarian "word" (expression) comes from ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Longest_words Quote:

See, finally you learnt that it is an existing company - though this description puts the stress on the less nice side of it...
Actually this is an English-Chinese-Hakka-Malay-Hungarian-Portugese-German site... The order may change, it only depends on you and German company names... (Heyy, this recalled a funny data... Some years ago I heard a statistics, it said that the Hungarian export to Taiwan is of 33 times lower than the import... In fact there is only one Hungarian item exported to Taiwan: Audi sport cars...)
