I'm reading a short story, and an expression is not clear.
新学年开始了。嘉县一中高一甲班教室里，50名新生坐得满满当当。 The new school year has started. 50 new students fulfilled classroom 'A' in ... in Jia county. (Jia county is a fictious name, I guess). 我不清楚,<一中高一>是甚麼意思?
