This site uses a Content Management System (CMS) called XOOPS to present the user interface and webpages. XOOPS stands for eXtensible Object Oriented Portal System and its official site is at http://www.xoops.org. It's a PHP-based CMS that provides dynamic webpages. XOOPS also makes use a database system called MySQL that is very common on Linux systems. The name XOOPS should be pronounced as "ZOOPS", just like other words that start with x and followed by a vowel.
