第一行基本上是沒意義的字,只是用來符合押韻而已. 在 nursery rhymes 中這是很常見的. 然而你也可以說他們是擬聲字,用來表示走路時,鞋子與地上拖行的聲音.
也有人說他們可能隱藏秘密的訊息. 這也是可能的,因為很多的 nursery rhymes 都有這種特色. 除此,在 a-tisket 與 a-tasket 中的 a- 字頭常在韻文中用來表示狀態. Tim
