slow當不及物動詞用時, 意思是變慢,變蕭條.
other economies may be slowing faster than the US... 別的經濟體可能比美國更快的變蕭條下去.... If I were the writer, I would avoid such usage, and I would write instead: other economies may be slowing more seriously than the US...
