Why do we call this kind of cup as the name"馬克"? Is it named by the name of inventor?
 ps:Please correct my English sentence for me If you find errors in my post.

A mug is a large glass with a handle, used especially for drinking beer, or a tall cup used for drinking tea, coffee etc.
Mug sounds like 馬克. That's why we call a mug 馬克杯. Lynn
