hi elinor, the pic shows one of the 2 flowers that sprung out after the rain(acc. to the local, for about 2 weeks) in the desert that i visited in UAE. unfortunately i got no name of the flower. will find out if possible.

the other flower is a common flower posted b4 but is 10 times smaller. http://okenglish.tw/modules/xcgal/displayimage.php?pid=418&album=topn&cat=-22&pos=24
