Think about Your Reasons for Going to College

Do you know what you want to be when you “grow up” and how will going to college allow you to achieve your goals

First let me say that college is not everything to all students. If you properly plan your college experience and you work hard to achieve your goals, needs and expectations. If you are still a High School student now is the time to identify what you are expecting out of college.

You should now start planning your college experience by identifying your interest, abilities and your preferences to help you choose a future career that you wish and to then identify what colleges offers that major that interest you. Then you should sit down and map out your short term goals and then your long term goals. Your goals should be realistic and broken down in steps where you will achieve one goal then strive to obtain another.

For example if you wish to be a engineer and design things, then you should look into schools that will provide you with the best engineering program. So think hard about what you want in the future and from college and use your college education to reach that goal.
