Sue is a smart girl. She can solve _____ math problems in my class.
A. the most difficult B. most difficult 書上答案是A. 可是我認為problems是複數 既然是「最難的」應該只有一個為什麼還會接複數呢? 就算可以 She can solve most difficult math problems in my class. "她能解答大部分的數學難題" 應該也沒什麼不妥之處吧? 那請問本題是只能用A，只能用B，還是2者皆可用? 謝謝你~~~

1. 多音節形容詞的最高級是在其前面加the most, 例如the most difficult, 其中most的詞性是副詞(修飾形容詞), 因此在這題中,
"She can solve the most difficult math problems."是完全正確的. 數學裡有不同的章節範疇, 例如方程式、因式分解、概率、函數、矩陣...等等各有難題, 用problems很合理啊! 2. most用於「大部份」的詞意時, 其詞性是名詞, 必須加of, 亦即應是: She can solve most of the difficult math problems才對; 也就是說, 這個of決定了此句的most是「大部份」的詞意.
