Mr. Lee is never much of a cook, but this year on Mother's Day, Mrs. Lee asks Mr. Lee to get into the kitchen and cook up a meal for the family. Before even getting into the kitchen, Mr. Lee already feels stressed out by the very thought of having to raise a finger just to make some people happy. He is used to be on the receiving end of the give-take relationship. Determined to maintain in the same position, he picks up the phone and calls to have food made and delivered to his house just in time for dinner. The family knows Mr. Lee did not do the cooking, but they are happy that there is food on the table all paid for. So, they all enjoy the meal and live happily ever after. :D

前幾天李先生忘了跟老婆說他要加班不能回家吃晚飯.他的太太對這件事耿耿於懷,於是李先生想了想,該如何補償平日忙於照顧家庭的太太?機會終於來了,在過幾天就是母親節.

李先生在母親節那天親自下廚,雖然笨手笨腳的,但還是完成了一桌的好菜.一家人吃的津津有味.就在這時李先生當著孩子的面前說:太太您辛苦了.他的太太感動的望著平日辛苦工作的老公並說:老公你也辛苦了.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was approaching. One day, Father told me that he would give Mother a big surprise which she has never had. I didn't exactly know what his plan was, but I was expecting the day to come soon.

On the day, I was awakened by a loud noise from the kitchen, and so did my mother and younger brother. "What happened in the kitchen?" I murmured and went up to check over. I couldn't believe my eyes! "What a mess!" I thought to myself. However, I was moved when I saw my father preparing for the special lunch for my mother. Although, he was sweating heavily, it was worth it.

After waiting for a long time, finally, we were able to sit around the table and happily enjoyed all the dishes that Father made. The atmosphere in the house was full of laughter and delight. I love my family.

Few days ago Mr. Li needed to work overtime, so he forgot to phone his wife to tell her he can't have dinner with their family today. Mrs. Li was not happy, so Mr. Li wanted to show her his regret.

Mr. Li got a chance on Mother's Day to cook for his family. Although Mr. Li was not good at cooking, he managed to finish many dishes. He also said some touching words to his wife like "I love you". Mr. Li's family had a good time at dinner on that day.
