Hi Glotynn,
As mentioned in the link, the Old Irish "donn" has eight definitions. Beside "lord" and "king", "donn" also takes on the meaning of the color "brown". So I guess it's quite alright for it to stay in the game. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donn ==> ... In modern Irish, the word for the colour brown is "donn".

Hi Futari, 'Donn', when meaning brown color, is an Irish word; can it be considered an English word? I agree that this particular definition makes 'donn' not a proper noun, but is this word in this definition used in English? e.g. Will people say "He has donn skin"?

Hi Glot
The link provided for 'jott' has a reference that says ... "Think it. Jott it. Do it." Jott here is used as a verb. The same applies to the word 'hugz' that you have used on Page 127, Line # 716, wherein 'hugz' is used as a verb other than a brand name for cards that hugs. Please tell me if the use of 'jott' as a verb is not satisfactory and cannot be allowed, and I'll have it replaced. The word 'moin' is a Friesland (Germany, Nederlands and Denmark) language. The following link shows that the word is also a German dialect meaning 'hello'. I wonder if this is an acceptable word for the game? http://www.answers.com/topic/moin-disambiguation By the way, 'jolt' is seen used by myself at Line # 811. Please pick another word. Thanks. Cheers

Hi Geo,
jott: Whether "jott" used as a verb can become an English word depends on how popular it is so done. Initially "google" is not a verb, but it is now very popularly used so. In your link "jott" is used as a verb only by the Jott website itself. "Hugz" seems more popular. However, "jott" may grow more popular in the future, so let's accept it. moin: The same or similar spellings of popular foreign greeting words often appear in English, such as 'moin' and 'ciao'. We know 'ciao' derives from the Italian 'ciau' and is widely used in English. I believe 'moin' is spoken or written in some English-speaking areas to reflect a dialect tone in Netherland or Germany. Already, many English spellings are used to denote Arabic, Japanese, or Chinese words, as often seen allowed in this game, right? My revised entry due to repeated 'jolt' replaced by 'jort': 801. geoette - diyu, nems, qued, copt 802. glotynn - dihu, news, hued, cops 803. geoette - dahu, newt, huel, tops 804. glotynn - dahi, neat, huey, topi 805. geoette - dali, nett, hugy, topo 806. futari - vali, nott, huly, toso 807. geoette - veli, noot, duly, tosh 808. glotynn - vele, zoot, ruly, rosh 809. geoette - vole, zoop, rely, rost 810. glotynn - volt, doop, rily, rest 811. geoette - jolt, doon, rimy, hest 812. futari - jort, foon, rime, heft 813. geoette - jott, foin, mime, weft 814. glotynn - jort, moin, mine, wept http://www.answers.com/topic/jort-apparel

Hi Glot Since "jott" has not yet been made popular as an English word, I shan't impose on its legality for this game. I have thereby replaced it with the word "jurt". As for the word "moin", it shall stay at Line # 814 as an acceptable word. I have tried to accommodate your "jort" by entering the replacement "jurt", but unfortunately, the word "jort" is seen entered by Futari at Line # 812. Will you please have it changed. Thanks My revised entry ... 801. geoette - diyu, nems, qued, copt 802. glotynn - dihu, news, hued, cops 803. geoette - dahu, newt, huel, tops 804. glotynn - dahi, neat, huey, topi 805. geoette - dali, nett, hugy, topo 806. futari - vali, nott, huly, toso 807. geoette - veli, noot, duly, tosh 808. glotynn - vele, zoot, ruly, rosh 809. geoette - vole, zoop, rely, rost 810. glotynn - volt, doop, rily, rest 811. geoette - jolt, doon, rimy, hest 812. futari - jort, foon, rime, heft 813. geoette - jurt, foin, mime, weft >> 'jurt' replaces 'jott' 814. glotynn - <jort>, moin, mine, wept >> replacement required. http://www.global-language.com/CENTURY/ Vol IV … Page 586 'jurt' >>> same as 'yurt' meaning one of the houses or huts, whether permanent or movable, of the natives of northern and central Asia.
