i know this may sound hilarious. most of the western countries, they are situated at where snow every winter or even every month or none-stop. ppl in oregon or other northern america states do not need to learn how to express they want to 賞雪 cuz i bet &%&^%( they are dying to get the snow outta their rooftop n frontyard. BUT, what about ppl in florida or taiwan....

my question is that, have you ever heard of people expressing they want to go 賞雪 in english?

ps. plz don't tell me it's "snow-watching"...

You can try "Snow Gazing", I have never heard anyone use it before, but you can be the first. Star Gazing is common.

I like 'admiring the snow' better.
