Many people have suggested that I can put some ads on the site to generate some revenue to support the running of this site. For this, do you guys think it's a good idea to do so?

My idea is that I can make use of Google AdSense and put it one the bottom left corner of every page. By doing so, it won't be so intrusive to member's viewing pleasure. All the ads will be coming from Google depending on the context a user is viewing. Most of the ads would be in English as most of the messages here are in that language and they should be also related to English learning. Only a few of them would be Chinese as messages in Chinese are just a minority so far.

Please give me your feedback.

Oh Tim, as a website owner, of course you can in order to keep the site running on. Since Febuary 2006 you've been so generous providing such a wonderful space for every folk to hang around. All of us are grateful and do not expect this site to die in silence. Just go ahead, Tim.

I applied for it yesterday afternoon and got approval from them this afternoon. I am still trying to know more about it. Meanwhile, you should have noticed Google AdSense appears on the lower left already.
