people
anyone might know what im facing right now? i've installed aim both version 5.8 and 6.0/1 and it said "check your interenet connection" some firewall or proxy something, i have no idea what it said really. i've been shuting down the firewall since i got this computer, i tried to switch it back and sign in the aim, still ain't work. so..... anyone please tell me how i solve this problem? ps. im staying in dorm (related to the dorm network maybe?)

The more likely cause should be that your dorm network blocks AIM access. Please survey first to make sure.

i was thinking that it might be dorm network but..
i ONCE logged in, that was at v. 5.8 and when i upgraded, i could not log in again. and never again since then.

Have you tried to downgrade to v5.8 and try again. Also ask around to see if others experience the same problem.
