Okie-dokie or okeydokey is indeed American English in origin. This kind of formation is called reduplication.

There are many reduplications like "humpty dumpty","hankny-panky","hocus-pocus","shilly-shally".
Does any chinese articles use "Reduplication",too?

****************************************************
Reduplication

Reduplication, in linguistics, is a morphological process in which the root or stem of a word, or only part of it, is repeated.

Reduplication is used both in inflections to convey a grammatical function, such as plurality, intensification, etc., and in lexical derivation to create new words. It is often used when a speaker adopts a tone more "expressive" or figurative than ordinary speech and is also often, but not exclusively, iconic in meaning. Reduplication is found in a wide range of languages and language groups, though its level of linguistic productivity varies.

Below are two nursery rhymes, you could see the
"reduplication" inside it.

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall.
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
All the king's horses and all the king's men
Couldn't put Humpty together again

A-tisket a-tasket
A green and yellow basket
I wrote a letter to my love
And on the way I dropped it

I think most languages and tongues have things like these. Surely Cantonese has lots of them.

聲聲慢 宋 李清照

尋尋覓覓 冷冷清清 悽悽慘慘戚戚
乍暖還寒時候 最難將息
三杯兩盞淡酒 怎敵他晚(曉)來風急
雁過也 正傷心 卻是舊時相識
滿地黃花堆積 憔悴損 如今有誰堪摘
守著窗兒 獨自怎生得黑
梧桐更兼細雨 到黃昏 點點滴滴
這次第 怎一個愁字了得

Glot,
