>請問這題要用are還是is? 應當用are. beef是不可數名詞, 直接針對它要用There is, 但加上單位時, 就變成由那個單位來決定單複數了. There is a pound of beef. <--- pound是單位, a表單數. There is a lot of beef. <--- lot不是單位. There are three lots of beef in the warehouse and five more on the way. <---這個lot(s)是單位. There are two kilos of beef. <--- 您的句子 再多看幾個例句就更明白了: There are five cups of water. There are many kinds of furniture. Ther are still several boxes of food.
