Today's idiom is a special one for some special purpose. It's about when people are punished or rewarded in a way that is unfair, especially in a way that is not legal.

Rough justice is very common around us. We can see that happen everyday, especially from those people that happen to be in power. The power can be manifested in many forms. As far as I know, even some webmasters and their associates also act that way. They think they own the site, they can do whatever they want to some members they have issues with. They can even verbally attack those people publicly as much as they can. What they can take advantage of is they control everything on the site, they can prevent those disfavored members from saying anything against them. They can even threaten to block email communications by blacklisting those "victims."

It's quite sad that I happen to know that some of them are born and raised here in Taiwan and are now residing in the United States of America. They are supposed to be Chinese in ethnicity, but they haven't shown any of the good characteristics that traditional Chinese have been ingrained with from proper inculcation and upbringing. In some way it's a shame to see those people in a foreign land, for they also somewhat represent the Chinese race.
