One of my friends keep two tortoises,they are very interesting.Her family has keft them for years.According to what my friend said,when they (tortoises)first came to her family they were still very small.However,now they become very big in size.Her family feeds them on not only vegetables but also small fish and beef.No wonder they become so big and a little overweight.

Hey Spencerc…..finally u got one more tortoises…hehe….i once kept a tortoise too while on my summer vacation at home….seems it was not a “vegetarian”…-_- anyway, when the new semester began I left it at home cuz school doesn’t allow students to keep pets in their dorm, then my parents told me it refused to eat anything after I left and a few days later it died. I was so upset then. Hope u can take good care your tortoises…the little couple..:)

lol,thanks for your comments ,glad to hear what you have said ,I am just trying to keep them alive as possible as I could ,mostly ,I just want them to accompany me when I tackle the weary work or study,and also I’d like to share the piture of my pets with you all, but I have no cam now ,maybe days later ,it will come true !

Welcome to this site.

I remember I got two tortoises as a birthday gift from my classmate when I was a child. I didn’t know how to take care of them, therefore, one was dead. Finally, putting the other one into the river, I let it go.

My freind has a tortoise buying from night market,too. very cute one. Spencerc, maybe one day you could upload your pet to your blog to share with us.
