鱼生.Normally we would call it "Lao Hei Yu Sheng". Lao Hei means 捞起.
It is normally eaten during Chinese Lunar New Year.

This is a type of ornamental ginger flower calls Crape ginger.

Its size is about the size of a full grown hibiscus.(大红花）
