Deep Freeze

julia @ Friday, January 3rd, 2014 ()

It is -18 right now with the wind chill of -30! It is freezing and windy out there!! I went out for only 5 minutes to leave the garbage and recycled bins by the curb, and I could feel the cold on my cheeks, nose and finger tips. Normally I would just go out […]

Merry Christmas

julia @ Tuesday, December 24th, 2013 ()

Christmas always makes me feel lonely even at festive parties with lots of friends and family around. Somehow, taking away the fancy lighting and decorations as well as the commercial part of the festive flare, the whole holy traditional concept and images is still quite secluded in my view.

In Memory of a Friend

julia @ Tuesday, August 27th, 2013 ()

Thee days ago last year, my friend S.C. attempted suicide due to his long-term depression, and he passed away two days later in the hospital. Yesterday was the anniversary of his death. We worked together in a little school which is filled with dominantly female staff. We always took him in as “one of us” because […]

I invited a friend over for lunch the other day. I told […]

My Comment to How Could I…?

julia @ Sunday, August 18th, 2013 ()

I did it with my Canadian flag! I just cropped it down to less than 120×120 for the avatar. Then it was uploaded perfectly. I had more trouble cropping than downloading. hehehe….
I have trouble leaving the comments as well. That is why I put it here as a blog article. this would be my next […]

Only the Lonely

julia @ Friday, August 16th, 2013 ()

This site appears to be quite interesting because it seems to be so “abandoned”. The last blog published before mine was from 275 days ago. Now, I hope the admin is still visiting the site once in a while to update the site.I remember last time when I visited a blog such as this one […]

Searching for a new home

julia @ Friday, August 16th, 2013 ()

This site seems to be a fairly lonely place. I am on a quest to search for a new home for a group of bloggers. Some people think that the bonding effect through a social network is often short-lived. That might be true in most cases, but some results in long-term friendship are also evident. A social network platform […]
