我從An A-Z of English Grammar and Usage中查到這 2 種句型：

1. have + 受詞 + Ving
2. have + 受詞 + V

可是書中沒請楚講解這2種句型在語意有什麼不同，所以我有疑問想請教大家，那就是:

(以下例句皆出自該書與Parctical English Usage)

●He had us working every night.

●It's lovely to have children playing in the garden again.

●He had us laughing all through the meal.


上面這2句可換成
" He had us work every night."
" It's lovely to have children play in the garden again. "
" He had us laugh all through the meal. "嗎？
若不行，是為什麼不行呢？在語意有什麼不同嗎?

●You really ought to have the doctor take a look at that eye.

●The manager had everyone fill out a form.


上面這句可換成
" You really ought to have the doctor taking a look at that eye. "
" The manager had everyone filling out a form. "嗎？
若不行，是為什麼不行呢？在語意有什麼不同嗎?

I always have my bedroom ____ tidy and clean.

A. look B. to look C. looked D. looks

可以跟我講一下，這題的答案用looking行不行呢?

其實有三種這類句型:
1. have + 受詞 + Ving
2. have + 受詞 + V
3. have + 受詞 + P.P.

第3種是被動語意, 不會引起表達上的困擾, 例如:
I have my hair cut every other month.
We should not have the children exposed to the danger.

第1、2種是主動語意, 一般而言是可以通用的, 語意上的差別很細微, 只是Ving稍強調動作的修飾性而已.
V與Ving皆可:
●He had us work/working every night.
●It's lovely to have children play/playing in the garden again.
●He had us laugh/laughing all through the meal.
●You really ought to have the doctor take/taking a look at that eye.
●The manager had everyone fill/filling out a form.

I always have my bedroom ____ tidy and clean.
--> 填look與looking皆正確, 選項中無looking, 正是因單選題不宜出現兩個正確答案之故.
