Hi Glot. It isn't a typo. Paragraph 13 of the link below spells out the word 'eyht' again. The question is, whether or not it is an acceptable word for this game. Even then it could be a one-in-a-hundred chance of using it. Ha ha! http://www.geometry.net/detail/basic_a/azerbaijan_culture.html Cheers.

Hello Everyone
Let's not procrastinate and move on ... I am not sure about the rest of the participants, but I would personally accept the word 'ecut' as an allowable word and move on from here. I am posting my next entry here, and if there is further dispute about the word 'ecut', entry # 757 shall be withdrawn. Here goes ... 751. geoette - bene, buta, weer, eche 752. glotynn - tene, bata, weel, oche 753. futari - wene, bats, ween, ocho 754. geoette - wend, bays, weep, echo 755. glotynn - weed, bayt, weet, echt 756. futari - werd, baya, keet, ecut 757. geoette - weid, daya, khet, ecus >> 'ecus' being replaced http://www.global-language.com/CENTURY/ Vol VIII .. Page 662 'weid' >> Same as weed [origin obscure]; a general name for any sudden illness from cold or relapse, usually accompanied by febrile symptoms, taken by women after confinement or during nursing, especially milk-fever, or inflammation of the breast. http://www.answers.com/topic/daya http://www.answers.com/topic/khet-game http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crouching_Venus >> ecus Headed under "ANCIENT EXAMPLES" of the above link, one will find the word 'ecus' which is a currency of France. QUOTE The Lely Venus (main image, above) is an Antonine marble that was in the Gonzaga collection, Mantua, where it was inventoried in the Gonzaga collection in 1627 and was remarked in England in 1631 as "the finest statue of all" and valued at 6000 ecus. It was purchased in 1627-28 from the Gonzagas for Charles I of England, whose art collections were dispersed during the Commonwealth, when it was purchased by the painter and connoisseur Sir Peter Lely. It passed once again into the Royal Collection in 1682 and is on loan to the British Museum UNQUOTE

Hey Geoette, guess your "ecus" is the plural of "écu", a French word meaning any of various old French coins, especially a silver five-franc piece.
[French, from Old French escu, from Latin scūtum, shield (from the shield stamped on the coin).] ========================================================== http://www.answers.com/%C3%A9cus http://www.answers.com/topic/cu-french-coins ==========================================================

The two paragraphs might have copied from each other. If 'eyht' was a word, it should be included in a dictionary, judging from the way it was written there.

Hi Geoette, the link that I've provided shows that "days" can be an adverb, too.
(= 每天; 經常在白天地) "days" [dāz] adv. >> During the daytime on every day or most days: She works days and sings in a band at night. ========================================================== http://www.answers.com/topic/days ==========================================================
