Sorry, Geo, the coreect link should be:
http://www.answers.com/topic/clag-glue Clag is a famous Australian brand of children's glue safe to eat. It is so merged into the daily life that the word 'clag' is even used as a common noun in Austrlia to refer to such kind of eatable glue. If you guys don't think it acceptable to the game, let me replace it by 'clig': 901. futari - kuba, nesh, eyra, kyte 902. geoette - kubb, nesa, eyry, kyth 903. glotynn - dubb, nepa, eery, kith 904. futari - dabb, nipa, aery, gith 905. geoette - daub, bipa, gery, geth 906. glotynn - dauw, biwa, gere, heth 907. geoette - dauk, kiwa, geru, hetu 908. futari - daut, kiwi, gehu, heku 909. geoette - drut, kiai, jehu, hekh 910. futari - brut, kiji, yehu, heyh 911. glotynn - crut, koji, fehu, heya 912. geoette - crux, koki, rehu, hoya 913. futari - brux, hoki, rehi, hiya 914. geoette - brix, hoko, repi, hiyu 915. futari - brid, hogo, refi, jiyu 916. glotynn - crid, gogo, refs, jihu 917. geoette - crud, goto, reis, sihu 918. glotynn - chud, gato, feis, sifu 919. geoette - chug, gati, fers, kifu 920. glotynn - shug, gami, pers, kiku 921. geoette - scug, bami, pery, siku 922. futari - scup, bamf, perf, soku 923. glotynn - scur, bumf, peri, soki 924. geoette - slur, bumb, puri, soli 925. glotynn - blur, bomb, kuri, boli 926. geoette - blub, boob, buri, bolk 927. futari - club, loob, burp, volk 928. geoette - clum, doob, burd, vola 929. glotynn - clem, doab, surd, wola 930. futari - cleg, doat, surf, wota 931. glotynn - clig, zoat, suri, weta http://www.answers.com/topic/clig?cat=technology

Hi Glot
Don't get me wrong. The word 'clag' is an approved word for this game. I have since checked it out and The Century Global Dictionary returns three definitions of the word 'clag' as follows: http://www.global-language.com/CENTURY/ Vol II .. Page 142 1. A clot; a mass of sticky or adhesive matter (as a clag of mud on one's shoes) 2. To clog; encumber something adhesive as clay 3. A portable bell used by the early Scotch Christians, apparently in the service of a mass, and also carried before the host taken out of the church, and before a dead body when carried to the grave. Save if for future use when the occasion arises, if you please. Cheers.

Sargent (1894; The Forest Flora of Japan) recorded the instance of a daimyo (feudal lord) who was too poor to donate a stone lantern at the funeral of the Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu (1543–1616) at Nikkō Tōshō-gū, but requested instead to be allowed to plant an avenue of Sugi, "that future visitors might be protected from the heat of the sun". The offer was accepted; the avenue, which still exists, is over 65 km (40 miles) long, and "has not its equal in stately grandeur". ---------------------------------------------------------- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waka (canoe) = In the Māori language and New Zealand English, waka are Māori watercraft, usually canoes. Similar craft are encountered elsewhere in Polynesia, with cognate names such as vaka. As with most loan-words from the Māori language, the plural of "waka" is simply "waka", not "wakas". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waka (poetry) = Waka [和歌] or Yamato uta is a genre of Japanese poetry. Waka literally means Japanese poem in Japanese. The word was originally coined during the Heian period to differentiate native poetry from the kanshi (漢詩 "Chinese poems") that all educated Japanese people were also familiar with.
