[ System Use ]

No.
Passwords are stored in an encrypted format, not the string you entered. When you enter your password, the system just encrypts it and compares the encrypted string with the one stored on the system (in MySQL). If the strings match, you are allowed to login.
However the webmaster can change the password for you should the need arise.
The encrypted string is something like this:
e309ca8ebf7fdaceedc3e92bc430d780
(Some characters have been changed.)

[ Flash Chat ]

The chatroom system is called FlashChat from http://www.tufat.com. It is based on Macromedia Flash.
On Windows systems, you also need to have ActiveX installed for it to work properly.
It uses MySQL as the underlying Database Management System. This means every message you type is logged by the system. Even private messages are logged.
The system will also filter out some words automatically, so please watch out for words you use in the chatroom.
Newcomers are encouraged to talk to Alice in Newbie's Paradise. Alice is not a real person but a chat robot. She is sometimes very talkative. So try your luck with her first if you like.
