You need to install the plugin DjVu first before you can properly view the pages there. That site features The Century Dictionary. So all the words there are from that dictionary, which was first published in the late 19th century. It is also one of the best dictionaries ever.
Besides the definition quoted from there, gurr also means growl or snarl according to Webster's Third New International. Tim Note: The attached file is a clip of what you can see from that dictionary. Attach file: ![]() ![]()
