前一陣子有個朋友去一個外商公司面試，其中一位面試的主管是外國人，他問我朋友如何計算產量之類的問題，我朋友粗略的說明，但這位面試的主管要他詳細說明，這時他才警覺到他連加減乘除的英文都不會說，雖然面試的結果很不錯，但當她跟我說面試的經過時，我當下的反應是背了那麼艱澀的英文單字，但為什麼連簡單的除法都不會說？教育是哪裡出了問題？

加:plus,and or add 减：minus or take from 乘：time or multiply 除：divide
原因很多…..可能離開學校太久so都忘了,可能……
ps:我記得我在學校沒學過加,減,乘,除 的英文.

The problem is you don’t “live” English, so there are a lot of simple things that you just don’t bother to learn.
What does”live” English mean?
