Christmas always makes me feel lonely even at festive parties with lots of friends and family around. Somehow, taking away the fancy lighting and decorations as well as the commercial part of the festive flare, the whole holy traditional concept and images is still quite secluded in my view.

There were supposed to be 2 of us going to Chengdu for a workshop but at the end it is only me at the airport. Guess what, my colleague was diagnosed with Dengue yesterday. I have cancelled his hotel and flight and just hope he will be fine.
This Dengue is getting out of control and has tarnished the little red dot. Singapore government was desperate to get rid of it and the embarrassment.

As of yesterday I was unsure whether this trip is possible as I was down with dengue.
After 5 days of fever, my platelet count in the blood has been dropping and I was on the verge of hospitalised that was last friday. Luckily, yesterday blood test show improvement of the level of platelet so today I was on my way to taipei right now.
In the airport and was kind of excited to meet up with my family whom have left 2 days earlier.
Dengue was a terrible infection and feels like going one round to hell and back. Let me has my power 2 weeks holidays.
